McLaren joins diffuser debate
McLaren has added its name to the list of teams that will be present at next week's appeal hearing into the legality of diffuser innovations.
McLaren: Getting involved
Ferrari, Renault and Red Bull complained about Brawn GP, Toyota and Williams at the season-opening Australian GP but their protest was denied and the diffuser three were cleared to race.
The dissenters appealed the decision, however, with the FIA setting aside April 14 for the Court of Appeal hearing in Paris.
BMW, who protested at the Malaysian GP, has now also asked to be heard, while Lewis Hamilton's team has added its name to the list of those wishing to be present as well.
According to the FIA, "Red Bull Racing, ING Renault F1 and Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro have appealed the Stewards' decisions" and therefore will be present at the hearing.
"Vodafone McLaren Mercedes, Brawn GP Formula One Team, AT&T Williams, BMW Sauber F1 Team and Panasonic Toyota Racing have asked to be heard by the Court."
